Intimate Little White Chapel Las Vegas Elopement

You know why eloping rules? Cause you get to do it YOUR way. There are no regulations, no expectations, just a whole lotta fun. And in Las Vegas, that fun doubles! (or maybe triples, depending on how much you bet) 😉

Amanda and Joseph traveled alllllll the way from New York to elope in Vegas! They picked a delightful spring Sunday to say their vows at the world famous Little White Chapel, and then we all jetted off for a photo tour around Las Vegas after!

Spring in Vegas is unlike any other. Where other places are battling rain and sometimes snow (and let’s not forget allergy season), Vegas has mild days with a few gusts of wind here and there. So if you’re wearing a dress on your elopement day, maybe also wear some shorts, just in case.

Amanda and Joseph timed their intimate ceremony to happen during the afternoon, which meant their photos would happen during golden hour and into the evening. This timing is absolutely perfect for any wedding day, as it means your portraits together as a newly married couple will be during the prettiest light available!

With how much the downtown Fremont Street area is changing and renovating, I always recommend hitting that area for at least a little bit of time, since you never know how much it’ll change even a year later! For example, when these two eloped this spring, they were photographed in front of some areas that are no longer available just a few short months later! So making the most of your time and visiting every location possible is the way to go!

When we figure out your timeline, we also make sure to optimize it based on your other plans! For these two, they had dinner plans along the Strip after their elopement, so it only made sense to end their session along the Strip! But regardless of what time you’re planning, make sure to leave a little extra for the Las Vegas sign, as the line can often take quite a bit of time!

Special thanks to AGP associate Brandi for documenting this day!
