Arts District Wedding Photos | Las Vegas Wedding Pictures

When couples visit Las Vegas to elope, it’s SUPER common for them to want to avoid the whole song and dance of a full wedding — including a formal photoshoot. So many of my couples reach out to see if we can just “hang out” and capture a few fun photos that really show off their love (and classic Las Vegas Scenery, of course!)

To this I say: heck yeah and let’s freaking go!!!

Laid-back couples that just want to explore my favorite place on Earth and have fun in front of the camera are my type of folks, folks. Shayla and Dustin wanted exactly that on the day of their wedding, so we started out in the Arts District before jigging over to Fremont Street.

The Arts District is SO. AMAZING. for capturing fun and creative photos. And because these murals are always changing, it’s so cool to get to freeze some of them in time in your pictures! There’s also something so satisfying about art adding to art — I’m particularly obsessed with the moody lighting contrasting with the bright stripes in the first few pictures down below. It makes my artistic soul so happy!

A few of my other favorite details from this session are their clothes! Shayla’s ‘Til Death jacket? Freaking badass. And Dustin in a full tuxedo? Round of applause!

Shayla and Dustin were complete rockstars for their session. Lots of couples feel nervous and awkward when we first meet up, but as soon as they realize what a blast we’re having, it’s not long before they relax and really start to shine. These two are the perfect example! By the time we reached Fremont Street, their comfort and pure joy in each other really started to shine.

If you want to explore the artsy side of Las Vegas for elopement pictures, an engagement session, or just for funsies, I’m in, baby! Let’s set something up!
