Lady Luck Love | Neon Museum Elopement
Fun fact about me: I am a sucker for second chance romance! Whitney and Brandon came to me for their Las Vegas elopement at the Neon Museum and it was beautiful, heartfelt, and so, so fun. I have to say, this is one of my favorite venues in Las Vegas to photograph!
Whitney said in her inquiry that the thing about me that won her over was the quote “You don’t just want pictures of what it looked like – you want to remember how it felt.” My style is absolutely focused on storytelling; capturing the feelings of the day in a way that transports you back to that moment is what this whole shebang is all about!
Of course the posed portraits are important and give you a moment to connect with each friend and family member that came to celebrate you, but what people are truly going to remember — and smile about — is the moments in between. Laughter, joy, reconnection, extra-tight hugs, adventure, and the beginning of a new story: yours!
That’s why I focus on the moments in-between. The ones that show who you truly are when you’re with your partner, how you truly feel about them and the people that gathered to celebrate with you, and (of course) how freakin’ stunning you are especially when you think nobody’s paying attention!
Some of my most favorite moments were between Whitney and Brandon and their boys. It’s so obvious that they’ve found a sense of home and family like no other together. They’re so much more than things from the past, and it was such a joy-filled day!
