Little White Chapel Vow Renewal | Las Vegas LGBTQ Elopement
I literally cannot deal with these cuties. Tanner and Austin are the epitome of doing whatever the heck they wanna do, and I’m super here for it.
Tanner and Austin got in touch with me when they were in the early elopement planning stages. They had their date and venue picked, and they were super excited to be married. They told me they were had been together for 6 years, now living in Nashville with their sweet fur babies. Tanner told me, “It's time to make sure our dogs have a stable home life.” LOL
“We have a unique view of marriage,” Tanner said. “We've been resistant because we've never decided some sort of government certificate or anything saying we're together, but these days, life is short. So we want to make sure we're good to go.
We set the date and began playing the waiting game! But then, plot twist, I got an email from Tanner just after Labor Day Weekend. He told me that he and Austin couldn’t wait to be married, so they ROAD TRIPPED from Nashville to Vegas to get married on a whim! They still wanted to keep their December weekend on the books though, so it would be a super sweet vow renewal! Then Tanner mentioned that he was working on getting a sparkly duster for the big day, and I got excited all over again!
Finally the day comes and it’s time to re-commit their vows to each other! We met up and immediately headed out to the desert for sunset. And y’all, you’ve never seen more incredible photos in the dry lakebed. Then we jetted over to A Little White Chapel where they were committed in the namesake chapel before celebrating with photos along Fremont Street!
I always love intimate days like these. Couples really feel empowered to say no to tradition and yes to whatever they want to do – which is really what Las Vegas elopements are all about!!!
